The altar – sharapana near Vrialo village
The altar – sharapana near Vrialo village This is one of the well preserved sharapans in this part of the Rhodopes mountain. It is situated near the Guzollar quarter of Vrialo village. The local people call it the “sharap-tashlar“ or sharapana. It consists of two terraced basins connected with a groove. One of them is round with 2m diameter and 0.5m depth. The second is placed under the first one, has the same depth but is with elliptical shape and diameters of 1.3m and 1.13m. Note: The place is near a cart way, but it is not designated. The local people know it.
