The field elm tree (Ulmus minor campestris), Chakalarovo village The field elm is a tree with precious wood that is unfortunately almost extinct in Europe. The elm tree in Chakalarovo village is one of the few survived centuries old trees in good condition. In 1975 was designated as protected. The trunk diameter is 4.2m, its height 25m and the age around 300 years. It is located in the school yard. Note: It is a suitable place for tourism combined with a route to Veikata peak.
