The Suspension bridge, Lisicite village
The Suspension bridge, Lisicite village The only way to reach Lisicite village through the suspension bridge was destroyed by a water disaster in 1993. That necessitated its renovation that lead to the construction of a new bridge following modern technology. This is the longest suspension bridge in Bulgaria with distance between the two towers of 260m. It is constructed in the narrowest part of Studen kladenez dam in a very beautiful area. Note: The bridge can be reached from Shiroko pole village or along the railway line getting down on Zheliazna vrata stop and walking to Shiroko pole village. Monyak fortress also reveals a picturesque view to the bridge.
