The Watermills in Egrek village
The Watermills in Egrek village In the area of the village are preserved few watermills with authentic architecture. Some of them are still working. They were constructed with cut out stone soldered with mortar. The roofs are covered with stone slates (tiklas). Wheat and corn grinding takes place from November to March when the river is at high water. Note: Two of the watermills are close to the asphalted road and are suitable for tourism in the above mentioned time of the year.
